NASA-UCLA Behavioral Health Treatment Study
This project aims to evaluate behavioral health treatment techniques that could be used with NASA astronauts on future exploration class missions where communication delay between earth and the spaceship will prevent the delivery of real-time behavioral care. We are conducting a randomized controlled trial at UCLA examining the efficacy, feasibility, and acceptability of asynchronous behavioral health treatment in comparison to real-time delivered psychotherapy among UCLA Health employees and students with symptoms of anxiety, depression, or stress.
