The Faculty Executive Committee is the elected representative body of the Faculty of the School of Medicine. Under the system of shared governance of the University of California, the Faculty, through this committee, has specific responsibilities for the academic program of courses and curriculum, admission policies, and the promotion and graduation of students in the School. The Faculty Executive Committee also serves to advise the administration and the UCLA Academic Senate on questions of faculty welfare, academic priorities, and planning and budget allocations within the School of Medicine.
Know someone who embodies the spirit of the David Geffen School of Medicine? Candidates must sign the acceptance statement for nomination forms and provide a one-paragraph statement of qualifications, and require sponsorship by one member of the Academic Senate.
