I currently serve as the Clerkship Chair for the Psychiatry Core Clerkship and an Educator for Excellence within the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. My additional teaching roles include being a small group co-leader in the Systems-Based Healthcare course, group co-leader in the LGBTQ Health Early Authentic Clinical Experience, and Co-Director of the Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation medical student fellowship program. Outside of my teaching roles, I cherish my clinical work as an adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist, and love the opportunity to help children and families cope with significant challenges, illnesses, and life stressors.
I’m originally from Orange County but have loved the opportunity to live and train in different cities across the country. It’s given me the opportunity to experience extremely diverse clinical settings and be introduced to a broad range of patient perspectives. My passion lies in working with underserved populations, kids with autism spectrum disorder, and trans/non-binary youth. On the weekends you’ll find me at a coffee shop, plant shop, or with my dogs at the dog park.
