UCLA has a robust system of reporting and support resources available to those in need of guidance, counseling or resolution services. The Medical Student Mistreatment Policy provides the various procedures and avenues for reporting incidents.
Please note: University employees are mandated reporters and are required to inform the appropriate offices by the UC Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Policy or by the UC Nondiscrimination Policy Statement. Complaints involving staff, faculty, employees or students that form a possible violation of the law, including but not limited to sexual harassment; unwanted physical contact; discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, national origin, and/or sexual orientation; or retaliatory action against a complainant; will be referred to UCLA Title IX Office or the Discrimination Prevention Office as appropriate.
