The Advisory Board functions in an advisory capacity to the Program Leadership on program operations, student recruitment and retention, curriculum, clinical rotations and experiences, strategic initiatives, and student success to promote quality improvement of the program and consistency with expected competencies. Advisory Board members are expected to attend meetings (either in person or by phone/virtual), be familiar with accreditation standards, review meeting materials in advance of meetings, actively engage in meetings, provide counsel regarding changes to the curriculum, provide feedback and suggestions on other topics of discussion, contribute to strategic planning, and facilitate implementation of suggestions where appropriate.
