Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Medicine

I currently serve as an Educator for Excellence within the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.

I grew up in Southern California after which I went to Bangalore, India to attend medical school. I subsequently completed residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Southern California, LA County. I then worked as an associated physician in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and was appointment instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. I then went on to pursue fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Harvard Medicine School. During the third year of fellowship, I was recognized for teaching and was awarded a fellowship teaching award by the department of medicine.
