In honor of Black History Month, we invite you to a luncheon celebrating the invaluable contributions of Black staff within DGSOM and its affiliated departments. This event fosters a strong sense of community and appreciation for the dedication, talent, and impact of Black professionals across our institution.
Our panel will feature voices from diverse areas—including AV, Student Affairs, and Administrative Support—who will share their experiences and insights as part of the DGSOM community. Open to all, this luncheon provides a space to build connections, celebrate achievements, and engage in meaningful dialogue that strengthens our collective legacy.
Panelists:
- Catherine Weston - Assistant to the Chair/Academic Personnel Coordinator, Department of Neurobiology
- Celeste Dancy - Program Coordinator, PRIME-LA
- Curtis Austin MBA, MPM - Operations Manager, Audiovisual Services, DGIT
- Travis R. McAllister - Operations & Data Manager, Admissions
