About
Dr. Tintut earned her Ph.D. in the Department of Biochemistry at University of California, Los Angeles in 1995. She has since joined the David Geffen School of Medicine faculty. She is also a Director of Physiology Teaching Laboratory and Safety Officer in the Department of Physiology.
Research Interests & Expertise: We investigate the regulatory mechanisms of inflammation on biomineralization in artery wall, aortic valve and bone using in vitro cell culture systems and mouse models.
