About
Dr. Pajukanta investigates the integrative genomics of complex cardiovascular and metabolic disorders. She is especially interested in combining molecular genetic approaches with new statistical and bioinformatics tools to identify and characterize DNA sequence variants contributing to common cardiovascular disorders, and is carrying out studies in an admixed Mexican population. She is the Director of the UCLA Genetics & Genomics graduate program.
