Announcing the DGSOM-Anderson Program for Leadership in Academic Medicine
The DGSOM-Anderson Program for Leadership in Academic Medicine program has launched. The program aims to identify and develop effective faculty leaders in academic medicine. A call-for-applications was sent to all faculty on February 5, and a review committee selected 30 faculty for the inaugural cohort with 13 departments being represented in this group. The program began in-person at UCLA Anderson on March 21 and will culminate on May 30. Sessions are taught by UCLA Anderson faculty and will cover topics such as: negotiations, financial acumen, navigating difficult conversations, change management, and inclusive leadership.
