Signature Character Strengths
In 2004, the VIA Institute commissioned Dr. Martin Seligman, the father of Positive Psychology, to lead a huge endeavor involving a large number of youth practitioners and scientists, to study character as a science and provide ways to understand and measure it. The VIA Survey is the tool that measures 24 Character Strengths. Identifying the more prominent characteristics of one’s profile, the Signature Strengths, we can begin to cultivate, flourish and live happier lives.
