Christina Diep
Undergraduate Student Intern
About
Hello, my name is Christina Diep. I am a 3rd year undergraduate student majoring in Sociology at UCLA while on the Pre-Medicine track aiming to enter medical school in a few upcoming years. I identify as a Vietnamese, SouthEast Asian American with a passion and commitment towards mental health within youth and under-represented communities. I've served on NAMI California's Youth Leadership Council for over 2 years working on various youth driven projects and speaking at NAMI's Annual Conference to bring awareness to mental health as well as helping to support high school students and faculty across California to create new NAMI chapters on their campus. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering as a teacher for Vietnamese language and culture for elementary students on the weekends as well as playing the piano and crocheting to relax. I am honored to work along such prestigious and talented staff on the HETSS team and having the opportunity to learn and advocate for health equity with the Los Angeles community and beyond.
