Eugene Wong, MSc CGC, hails from Canada and is an ABGC certified genetic counselor. He sees patients in the UCLA Cardiovascular genetics clinic and in the ATLAS return of results program. Prior to coming to UCLA, he worked at the Massachusetts General Hospital in the Cardiovascular Genetics Program as a clinical genetic counselor, and in the Genomic Medicine Unit as a project manager. He is actively involved in lecturing, clinical and capstone research supervision. He has a research interest in cardiovascular genetics related research, as well as genetics health services implementation, and education of non-genetics providers. He is actively engaged in both NSGC and ABGC, and with other genetic counseling programs. He received his MSc in genetic counseling in 2018 at the University of British Columbia and completed his BSc with Specialization in Developmental Biology and minor in Psychology at the University of Toronto.
