Our speaker, Dr. Hugh Garavan, is a world-renowned neuroimager, accomplished cognitive fMRI investigator, an MRI methods innovator, and a long-time specialist in substance-use disorders with high emphasis on ethanol and cannabis. His neuroimaging work includes intensive study of normal development, especially adolescence. Dr. Garavan is also a leading figure in the major neuroimaging consortia of our day, including ENIGMA-Addiction, the ABCD Study, and more.
