General Directions

• Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the closest airport to UCLA, approximately 11 miles away. You are responsible for planning your transportation from LAX to campus. To aid you in your decision-making, carefully review the information about LAX-it.
• Events will be located on UCLA campus: Geffen Hall, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA (Google Maps: 885 Tiverton Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90024).
• Event check-in will be at the front entrance of Geffen Hall on Le Conte.

Parking Recommendations

Guests will be responsible for their own parking costs. 

• Rates with Parking Occupancy Tax: Ranges from $5 for 1 hour to $17 all day. Vary by location and day.

   

Recommended Parking Options: Parking Lot 18 Visitors only, Lot 2 (overflow)

1. Please enter a Pay-by-Plate area (visitor parking) and park in any unreserved
   parking stall.
2. Go to the nearest parking pay station machine to obtain your
   parking permit.
3. When prompted, enter your license plate number into the pay station machine by
   using the number pad.
4. Please retain the permit as a receipt for parking.
   Unless a vehicle does not have visible license plates, it is not necessary to display the
   permit. If a vehicle does not have license plates, please enter the last six digits of the
   VIN and display the permit on the driver’s side dash.

Q: Will travel, meals, or other expenses be covered?

A: No. Attendees are responsible for their own costs associated with attending the event day. 

Q: I am an admitted student who was not admitted off the waitlist. Can I still attend? 

A: The event is open for admitted students who were unable to attend our previous Admit Weekend in April. 

Q: Are guests welcomed?  

A: We will be able accommodate plus-ones and potentially other guests that you wish to bring (family, spouses) for most of the event. Reach out via email for confirmation.
