Medical School Alumni and Friends Amplifying Good Work
Lifelong connections and inspirational partnerships strengthen our community.
All of our medical school graduates are welcomed as members of the Medical Alumni Association. Comprised of nearly 12,000 graduates who lead and transform health in the U.S. and around the globe, the MAA aims to support activities that connect alumni to each other, the school, and current medical school students.
Our expansive community of philanthropic partners empowers life-saving research, the pursuit of educational excellence, and our commitment to training the next generation of physician-leaders.
We are deeply saddened to share the news that DGSOM alumnus, Keith Terasaki, passed away on December 22, 2024. He will be missed and his legacy will carry on because of the impact of his dedication and generosity.
A double Bruin, Keith earned his bachelor’s degree from UCLA in 1977 and graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 1983. In 2023, Keith was awarded the Edward A. Dickson Alumnus of the Year Award in honor of his visionary leadership and steadfast dedication to UCLA and the broader community.
