Take a look at the UC PRIME statewide sites
A commitment to serve in, and experience working with California and U.S. diverse medically disadvantaged populations, as well as experience in leadership and advocacy roles.
The program leads to the regular MD with special emphasis on addressing healthcare disparities in medically underserved populations. Students in the PRIME program will begin their medical school experience by participating in a Leadership and Advocacy Summer Foundations Program that sets the direction for the program and establishes early group bonding.
