Brain health is a vital cornerstone of lifelong well-being. With rising rates of dementia, stroke, mood disorders, and stress-related conditions, clinicians across disciplines need a shared framework to understand and promote brain health. This half-day educational course brings together neurology, psychiatry, and psychology, and features leadership from the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Brain Health Committee.

Refunds
Cancellations must be received via email to ccpd@mednet.ucla.edu by Sunday, March 1, 2026 and will be subject to a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be granted after that date. Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Define the components of a healthy brain and nervous system.
  2. Explore environmental and psychosocial determinants of brain health.
  3. Identify strategies providers can use to promote brain health in clinical practice.
  4. Integrate interdisciplinary perspectives (neurology, psychiatry, psychology).
  5. Highlight national initiatives and professional guidance from the AAN Brain Health Committee.
