Community Wildfire Health Outreach Grants – Applications Now Open 

UCLA CTSI Community Engagement and Research Program (CERP) is offering grants of up to $30,000 to community-based organizations serving neighborhoods impacted by the Eaton Fire. Awardees will receive training and a multilingual outreach toolkit from UCLA environmental health experts and will lead community education from Jan 2027–March 2028 on the health impacts of wild‑urban fires, safety during and after fires, reducing exposure, and supporting mental health. 

Projects may include workshops, health‑promoting activities, distribution of protective resources, and other outreach tailored to vulnerable groups. 

Up to 7 organizations will be funded. Eligible applicants must serve the Eaton fire area and have capacity for community outreach. 

Submit your Letter of Intent by March 20 at 5 PM.
