Identifying, recruiting, and hiring outstanding leaders is critical to the future of UCLA. Our leadership search processes are standardized, equitable and thorough. Each search is built upon the principles of confidentiality, integrity, professionalism, and inclusion. We are deeply committed to building robust, diverse, and high-caliber pools of candidates and seek to engage both the internal and external community each time we launch a search.

Support
The executive search team handles all Vice Dean and Department Chair searches for the David Geffen School of Medicine, in addition to an array of other senior-level recruitments. The team takes on a finite number of leadership positions per year, assigned by senior leadership, however they are available for consultation and can help provide templates, answers questions, or share recruitment expertise for other senior level recruitments.
