Spencer Redula (he/him) is a second-year undergraduate at UCLA, majoring in physiological sciences. He is enthusiastic about youth and community mental health, empowerment, equity, and health education, and looks to incorporate these fields in a future career in medicine or healthcare. He currently volunteers with UCLA’s Hunger Project, working to address food insecurity among houseless and underserved populations, and with Stroke Force, aiding clinical research and advocating for stroke awareness and prevention throughout Los Angeles. Spencer is immensely grateful to work alongside the incredibly talented HETSS team to continue to learn, advocate, and help bridge different disciplines to support the well-being of our country’s diverse communities.
