Aparna Murali, MS

Aparna Murali is a genetic counselor certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and licensed in California. She received her BS from the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, MA in Psychology from Annamalai University  and MS in Genetic Counseling from California State University, Northridge. Prior to her genetic counseling career, Aparna worked in a cytogenetic lab and was part of the team that standardized triple marker maternal serum screening, a first in southern India. Aparna has worked in diverse environment- lab, private practice and community hospitals. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Aparna is also a supervisor and committed to training of the next generation of genetic counselors, residents and Fellows.
