Arturo Góngora is an administrator for the Health Equity and Translational Social Science Research Theme at UCLA, where he supports community-engaged research efforts focused on improving health outcomes. With a background in philosophy and programming, he brings both critical thinking and technical skills to his work, helping bridge academic research with real-world community priorities. Arturo has extensive experience coordinating research activities, managing community advisory efforts, and supporting faculty and trainees in developing meaningful partnerships that address structural barriers to health. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys music, horror films, reading, photography, and exploring new places.
