Laura Camarena

Laura Camarena joins us from the administrative team of the Chair in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA. Laura is a student of psychology with a background in counseling and therapy who is currently seeking a master's degree in a similar specialized field. She has been a part of the UCLA community for almost 2 years, previously working at an oncology center. We were drawn to her passions for advocating for the public interest, promoting diversity and prioritizing kindness and inventiveness. In her spare time, she enjoys collecting hobbies such as sewing, painting, hiking, and swimming - the newest including learning the keyboard piano.
