Mark Lucas

Mark Lucas is a senior administrative leader at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where he serves as Chief Administrative Officer for the Departments of Neurobiology and Computational Medicine. With over three decades of experience at UCLA, Lucas has held a variety of administrative and management positions supporting academic, research, and clinical programs. His work focuses on research administration, organizational leadership, strategic planning, financial administration, and operational management. In his current role, he oversee basic science departmental operations and supports faculty, staff, and institutional initiatives. Lucas is recognized for his extensive knowledge of UCLA’s academic and administrative environment and his long-standing commitment to the university.
