About
Her research focuses on how inherited genomics influences human health, with an emphasis on cancer biology, ancestry-informed risk, and pharmacogenomics. She develops computational methods and applies large-scale data analyses to translate genomic insights into cancer risk stratification and personalized management. She led a large-scale genomic analysis using data from ATLAS, the UCLA biobank, as part of a major institutional initiative, investigating ancestry-specific genetic associations with disease risk and treatment response.
She received the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) Postdoctoral Fellowship and the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) Young Investigator Award. She was also awarded the UCLA Suzanne Eaton Memorial Prize.
