Samantha Goold, MS

Samantha Goold is originally from Southern California and graduated from MIT in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences. She has assisted in cancer, tissue engineering, and cognitive science research and published her research on theory of mind in Psychological Science. She has also conducted cognitive science research in Uganda and acts as a board member and team leader for a non-profit organization that delivers humanitarian aid to orphanages in Liberia. Since graduating, Samantha has worked as a professional dancer on cruise ships and as a tutor and admissions consultant for high school students and has volunteered as a genetic counseling assistant at the St. Joseph Hospital Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment. She is passionate about expanding access to genetic counseling by incorporating genetic counselors into more areas of healthcare.
