Location: Dickson Court North (Perloff Quad)
Date: Friday, May 31, 2019
Schedule: The Ceremony starts at 5 PM and lasts approximately 2 hours.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate your graduation from medical school.
Tickets are not required. There is usually sufficient seating available for all family and friends, and there is plenty of standing room around the perimeter.
Seating is first-come, first-served, but guests will not be allowed to hold multiple seats. There are no recommended times or estimates for arrival/seating beforehand.
The Ceremony is held outdoors, so hats, visors, and the use of sun-block are recommended. Umbrellas and balloons will not be permitted as they block the view of others.
Parking is available for a $12 charge per vehicle in Lot 2.
Accessible parking for individuals with disabilities is plentiful and available on a first-come, first-served basis. A $7 permit will be available for disabled persons with valid DMV-issued disabled placards by visiting the UCLA Parking & Information booth at Hilgard and Westholme, which will enable guests to park in the disabled spaces along the perimeter of Dickson Plaza, or in Lot A.
A sign language interpreter will be provided.
We were honored to have Atul Gawande deliver the commencement address at this year's Hippocratic Oath Ceremony. If you missed it in person, watch below or you can read the full address here →
