Every year, the David Geffen School of Medicine hosts a White Coat Ceremony for incoming first year students. This ceremony caps off the Introduction to the Profession orientation week, ushering students into their first year of medical school.

White Coat Ceremony Information for the Class of 2023:

Location: Royce Hall

Date: Friday, August 9, 2019

Schedule: The Ceremony starts at 4 PM and lasts approximately 2 hours.

• Parking for guests is in Lot 2 and costs $12 for anyone not holding a UCLA permit.
• Seating is first-come, first-served, but guests will not be allowed to hold multiple seats. The doors will open approximately 15 minutes before the ceremony.
