42nd Annual UCLA Intensive Course in Geriatric Medicine and Board Review

UCLA’s annual Intensive Course in Geriatric Medicine is a nationally recognized program and a leader in educating health professionals on the essential knowledge and skills needed to care for older adults. For over four decades, it has provided physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers with a comprehensive, evidence-based, and practical approach to geriatric care.

The four-day course and board review emphasize functional, patient-centered care and are designed for professionals who wish to enhance their clinical expertise or prepare for initial certification or re-certification in Geriatric Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).

The Intensive Course is presented concurrently with the Geriatric Pharmacy and Board Review, allowing participants to attend sessions across both programs. Participants receive speaker presentations and supplementary materials in a PDF syllabus, access over five hours of optional interactive board review sessions, and can view recorded sessions for four weeks post-course (not certified for CME credit).
