Deadlines & Opportunities

Our project is a collaboration between the UCLA Breast Imaging and UCLA Breast Surgery to investigate the utility of a software called "TumorSight". TumorSight is a program developed by SimBioSys, using artificial intelligence to model breast tumors seen on MRI in 3D. Surgery's end goal is to use the technology during discussions with patients to help visualize the extent of disease and discuss surgical treatment plans.

Our role would be to upload anonymized, HIPPA-compliant, DICOM breast MRI images into the cloud-based software. We plan to investigate the software on its functional utility and potential applicability to our workflow and surgery's workflow.
