General Directions
- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the closest airport to UCLA, approximately 11 miles away. You are responsible for planning your transportation from LAX to the hotel. To aid you in your decision-making, carefully review the information about LAX-it.
- Events will be located on UCLA campus: Geffen Hall, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA (Google Maps: 885 Tiverton Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90024).
- Event check-in will be at the front entrance of Geffen Hall on Le Conte.
Hotel Information - UCLA Luskin Conference Center
Hotel Information
- For your convenience, a special conference rate at the Luskin Conference Center & Hotel on the UCLA campus is available to you. The hotel is a 10-minute walk to Geffen Hall.
- Check-in is at 4:00pm on April 10, and check-out will be on April 11 by 11:00am. If you selected to stay in the Luskin Conference Center & Hotel on the Admit Weekend RSVP form, DGSOM will make the reservation for you.
- Please note that the room cost and incidentals are your responsibility. .
- Room Options include:
- A double-occupancy shared room with another incoming student: Cost = $159.50 each per night (incl. tax).
- A private room: Cost = $319.00 per night (incl. tax). Limited availability.
- * Please note that the costs include room fees and taxes only.
If your lodging is confirmed:
- Hotel check-in at the Luskin Conference Center begins at 4:00pm on April 10. Luggage can be held at the hotel prior.
- Check-in is at 4:00pm on April 10 and check-out will be on April 11 by 11:00am.

Parking Instructions
Parking Recommendations
Guests will be responsible for their own parking costs.
Recommended Parking Options: Parking Lot 8, Lot 18 Visitors, Lot 2 (overflow)
- Please enter a Pay-by-Plate area (visitor parking) and park in any unreserved
parking stall. - Go to the nearest parking pay station machine to obtain your
parking permit. - When prompted, enter your license plate number into the pay station machine by
using the number pad. - Please retain the permit as a receipt for parking.
Unless a vehicle does not have visible license plates, it is not necessary to display the
permit. If a vehicle does not have license plates, please enter the last six digits of the
VIN and display the permit on the driver’s side dash.
FAQ's
Q: Are guests allowed?
A: Guests are allowed to join the tours. There will not be event capacity for guests to attend any other section of the event.

- Travel to and from UCLA and the event
- Meals - Breaks will be provided at mealtimes during the event, and there are a variety of restaurants on and around campus in the Westwood area which you can enjoy.
- Friday 4/10 at 1:00pm for earliest event check-in.
