The National Clinician Scholars Program (NCSP) is a prestigious two-year interprofessional postdoctoral fellowship for physicians and nurses committed to improving health care through research, innovation, policy, and systems change.

Scholars receive advanced training in:

  • Health services and outcomes research 
  • Implementation science 
  • Artificial intelligence and digital health evaluation 
  • Health policy and population health 
  • Health system innovation and quality improvement 

NCSP alumni pursue leadership careers in:

  • Academic medicine 
  • Health system leadership and quality improvement 
  • Government, health policy, and advocacy 
  • Population health 
  • Industry, including health technology, AI, and data science 

Scholars also become part of a national network of faculty, mentors, and alumni that continues to support career development long after graduation.
