A position request is used to request a new position, changes to an existing unfilled position, or replace/backfill an existing position. All requests must include an org chart, approved and classified job description, and position request form. Read below to learn more.
A compensation request is used to request a temporary stipend (see form for qualifying reasons), an equity or market adjustment review, or to reclassify a position. All requests must include an org chart and the compensation request form. Equity requests, market adjustments, and reclassifications must include both a current and proposed job description. Note: Do not make changes to a JD that has already been classified. Any changes should be submitted to HR for review by attaching the current JD and a draft document reflecting the proposed updates. If you need to have your job description classified, contact DOHR@mednet.ucla.edu.

Submit completed forms to Ask DO HR. All requets must be submitted by the last day of the month to be reviewed by the Hiring Committee the following month.
