Grey Matters
The Lifetime of a MemoryNovember 29, 2018
Our second symposium of the “Grey Matters" series, "The Lifetime of a Memory,” focused on the study of memory function and groundbreaking research initiatives on memory disorders. There are many approaches and methods to understanding how the brain develops and works, including how memories are created, stored, and recalled. The goal of the physicians, scientists, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students that comprise UCLA Neuroscience is to deepen this understanding and to leverage this knowledge to uncover the causes of brain disorders and to develop effective and transformational therapies to treat them. We are committed to this mission and greatly appreciate your support of our efforts.
March 21, 2018
At the inaugural event of the "Grey Matters" series in March, “Unveiling Mysteries of Brain Disease,” our panel discussed breakthroughs in research and treatments for brain diseases. Guests were also able to meet with the physician-scientists during the “Meet-the-Experts” portion of the evening and ask specific questions about their work. This sold-out event was an informative and inspirational evening, and we thank our guests and supporters for their interest and dedication to the Neuroscience Theme and the “Grey Matters" series.
