Room Reservation Procedures
Please reference the Geffen Hall Building Access Policy before reserving a room.
Events Online (EOL)
All extracurricular events must be registered via the EOL system for administrative review and authorization if they meet any of the following criteria:
- More than 25 attendees are anticipated to attend, excluding Official University Functions.
- A Non-Affiliate is a guest speaker, excluding registered classes.
- Alcohol will be served.
- Tenting or installation of other structures (see UCLA Procedure 850.1).
- Commercial filming (see UCLA Policy 863).
- Public Food Event or the sale of food and/or merchandise, excluding RCO fundraisers at Bruin Walk picnic benches or approved by department for spaces under departmental control.
All requests must be submitted through EOL for appropriate review and approval a minimum of ten (10) working days prior to the execution or administration of any Organized Event.
DGIT Room Reservations
Utilize Ad Astra to reserve a room on campus.
Lecture Halls and Conference Rooms
There are currently three conference rooms and three seminar rooms that are available for general reservations in Geffen Hall.
Note: Please complete this form if you are a DGSOM student organization or DGSOM student to reserve a room.
If you are not a medical student and don't have access to request the larger rooms in Geffen Hall through Ad Astra, please contact Geffen Hall Building Manager, Lia Bygrave Ramer, LRamer@mednet.ucla.edu.
