Pathways to Practice

Pathways to Practice is a dynamic one-day conference hosted by UCLA Graduate Medical Education and the Minority Housestaff Organization. Designed to equip house staff with essential mentorship, sponsorship, and practical skills, the conference supports a seamless transition into successful careers in clinical care, academia, and leadership after postgraduate training.

Attendees will gain valuable insights through workshops on financial strategies for early-career attendings, leadership development, and CV enhancement, along with dedicated networking opportunities with esteemed faculty.

We also invite UCLA Health physician faculty to join us for a networking lunch from 12:00–1:00 PM, fostering meaningful connections and mentorship.
