Postdoctoral lab

The Pajonk Lab in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UCLA is seeking a postdoctoral scholar for an NIH-funded research project on glioblastoma. The overall goal is to use cellular plasticity as a means to improve treatment outcome. 

A successful postdoctoral applicant must be a productive PhD candidate or recent MD/PhD or PhD graduate with less than 2 years of postdoctoral experience and documented expertise in cell and molecular biology.

Candidates with previous experience in mouse models of cancer, scRNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, bioinformatics, flow cytometry, and viral vectors are preferred.

At least one published manuscript in a peer reviewed international journal resulting from the doctoral research and at least one 1st authorship from postdoctoral research (if applicable) are required. Team spirit, excellent verbal communication and writing skills in English are a precondition.
