Do you have Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes?
Volunteers Needed for MRI Study
We would like to offer you the opportunity to participate in Dr. Albert Thomas and Dr. Christine Darwin's project "MR Imaging and Spectroscopic Imaging of Human Brain in Diabetes" that is being conducted at UCLA.
If you are between 20 and 80 years of age and are either:
- An individual who has been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes OR
- An individual who has been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes
You may be eligible to participate in an MRI study.
If you to choose to volunteer:
- You will partake in a 90-minute MRI/MRS brain scan without contrast.
- There is no fee to participate in the study.
- You will be paid $100 in cash or cash equivalent for your participation in the study.
