The purpose of this study is to test how transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), a non-invasive brain stimulation method which involves pulsed magnetic fields that affect brain cells' activities, can change the way research participants perform computer tasks measuring impulsivity and emotion regulation.
You may be eligible if you:
- Are 18-65 years of age
- Are in good physical health
- Currently have a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder
- Have no history of certain other psychiatric illnesses
By participating in this study, you can get the following benefits:
