Dean's Office Programs - Access Management
Dean's Office Programs consist of DG Inform and FPM. The DGSOM Controller's Office grants and removes access to these programs for employees within the DGSOM.
Topics
DG Inform
The DG Inform program provides consistent and transparent financial and managerial reporting for DGSOM. More information about the system and instructions on how to use it can be found in the DG Inform Training video linked below.
FPM
The Financial Projection Module (FPM) is a legacy system that supports fund management within the DGSOM. Users will have to access the jump server to run FPM. The link below can be used to request access to the jump server.
Note: FPM is considered a legacy system and in anticipation of the Ascend Project, the Dean's Office will no longer support FPM upon go-live of Oracle Cloud.
Access Request Process
Access requests are submitted through the System Access Portal. The required training completion certificates must be attached. An approval email will be sent to the supervisor of the requestor for signature before being routed to the Controls & Compliance Specialist for review. After review, the request will be forwarded to the Database Administrator who will provision access to the user and inform the Controls & Compliance Specialist of completion. The Controls & Compliance Specialist will then log the completed request in Smartsheets, which will notify the user that their access has been granted. Time expectation for access requests are 1-3 business days.
